BLUNTS RECORD

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. Roger Blunts 121 last Saturday was the fifth century from his bat this season and his twenty-fourth in New Zealand games. In air matches played in the Dominion he has scored about 12,000 runs. So far this season's tally is 1018, and it looks as if this might be his best season since he commenced first grade cricket in Christchurch in 1917. One thousand -uns in a season is something of a rarity in Dunedin cricket history, though three years ago both Blamirea and Worker passed the four-figure mark.
