CANDIDATES CHANGE POSITIONS As a result of to-day's voting the position of candidates in the Historic Queen Carnival being held in support of the Military Tournament and Tattoo] is as follows:— "Margaret of Anjou" Miss A. Rubenstein, R.S.A. nominee) .... 1 "Queen Anne" (Miss Eileen Norwood, Artillery nominee) 2 "Queen Victoria" (Miss Muriel Frazer, Community Club nominee) 3 "Britannia" (Miss Noclinu Bevan, Navy League nominee) 4 So far "Berengaria" (ALiss Dor.eon M'Cubbin, the Red Cross nominee) has not voted. The alteration disclosed as a result of to-day voting is that "Queen Victoria" has gone up to third place, while "Britannia" is now fourth. The poll will close at noon next Wednesday, and all committees arc now making every effort, to place their candidate at the head of the poll. Tho crowning ceremony, with historic costumes and ceremonial will take place at the Town Hall on the stnio evening.
