WASHINGTON, 26th Feb. The United States has accepted the League's invitation to participate in a preliminary conference to draft a convention in regard to the private manufacture of arms and munitions.
The Government has also indicated that it is in favour of the publication of statistics of both private and Government factories, but it is understood that the United States will not agree to any form of international, control of arms manufactured in the United States. :
