EASTERN SUBURBS LEAGUE.
The • Eastern Suburbs, League will hold an open, meeting in the Presbyterian Church room, Kilbirnie crescent, this evening at 8.30 p.m. Councillor G-. A. Troup will address the meeting on municipal affairs, and other -speakers will follow on plans for organisation for the districts of the Eastern Suburbs. The meeting is not confined to league members, but all friends and supporters are invited, ladies being specially askecl to attend. Matters specially affecting the Eastern Suburbs will be discussed at this meeting, and for this reason the meeting is open to the general body of electors.
Messrs* Samson Bros, will sell pianos and household furniture at Courtenay place to-morrow at 2 p.m.
