AN OFFER TO LEAVE FRENCH COUPLE IN COURT (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. Jean George Vigneron (43) and Gcrlnaine Louise Vigneron (35), natives of France, appeared this morning on charges of being idle and disorderly. The former was also charged with having an automatic pistol, in his possession. They pleaded not guilty of vagrancy, but Jean Vigneron admitted the .offence under, the Arms Act. Evidence was given that Jean Vigneron arrived from Australia on 25th | January, and was followed by Germaine a week later, both declaring that they had no arms or ammunition, and were visiting Now Zealand on holiday, and intended to stay at a leading Princess street hotel.
