SWIMMING SPORTS. The swimming sports of the Wellington East Girls' College were held under ideal weather conditions at the Te Aro Baths on limrsday morning. 'The number of entries was very satisfactory and the swimming was of a very high standard. Thanks are due to Mr. Calnan, of Te Aro Baths tor his assistance, and to Messrs. Sonieryille, Rundle .Clarke, Beer, and Little, of tne Amateur Swimming Association, who acted as starters and judges and by their presence showed the interest taken by their society in the meeting.
