redo^U? gety and Company, Limited, report:-At our special- sale of wethers and lambs held on the 7th we offered * heavy yarding generally of well-grown Sw^^SS^ sheep t0 * lar«e™SSS of buyers. Bidding was exceptionally good thf w lot ofiered under the hammer. Wethers were in specially good demand, the majority of tETtetesold going to the Wairarapa. For a Une ot well^rown, good conditioned 2-tooth wethers offered on account of J. Johnson, the satufactory price o£ 23s 9d was ob tamed. Other sales were as under:—B3 2--20, M^on' 2}fJi; 250 2-tooth wethers, forward rape lambs, 17s; 75 w.f. forward rape lambs, 14s 4d; 52 w.f. forward rape i^^ 1- 8 3?5 K-f. forward rape lambs, 14s; 57'w.f..-fpi^ard'rape; lainbs^l3jfk;--smaUer ]ambß,;Bs lid to Ks Id." There'was also a good demand for cull lambs Thescr were selling at from 5s 6d to 6s 6d. A good yarding of cattle also came forward, competition being very restricted.
