The Wingatui track was in good order for the final. gallops this morning. • _Set Sail ran seven furlongs in lmin 30 2-ssec, picking up Bugle Note at the five furlongs post and beating him' home. The mare was tender on pulling _ Count Cavour, Rapier, and Centrepiece went nine furlongs, the last eight in lmin 46sec. The latter, on the outside, was slightly behind. Chickwheat and Front Bank went seven furlongs in lmin 31 3-ssec, the first two in 24sec, three in 36 l-ssec, the half-mile in 49 l-ssee. .
