The course at Wingatui this morning was in good order. The outside of the course proper was .' available for fast work.
Pink Note and Vavrard went nine furlongs, taking lmin 48 2-ssec. Pink Note carried several pounds above the Cup weight, and finished well.
Crossbow beat San Salvador over six furlongs in lmin. 19Jsec. • Silver Coot, Don Jose, and Stringbow sprinted five furlongs in Imin 6 sec. '".
'Great Spear went under to Blue Dragoon over seven furlongs,, in lmin 35sec. -
Tholomon. and Overhaul went five furlongs in lmin ssee—the fastest gal-lop-of the morning. . -Ark Eoyai'beat Credit easily over five furlongs, in lmin 7see. : Cartoon had the best of Adjutor, who jumped badly, over two rounds of schooling hurdles.
■ Guncase jumped badly while schooling once round with Coastguard. King Sol beat Martin over seven furlongs, in lmin 34sec. '
Corn Money moved very ■ cramped over.a circuit, sprinting home over tho last five furlongs in lmin Csec. Arpent ran half a mile in 54 4-ssee. Father O'Flynn, looking well, was given strong work over nine furlongs.
