STEATFORD, This Day.

At the Hospital Board meeting the chairman announced that Nurse Stevenson, of the Stratford Hospital, had come out on top for New Zealand in the recent State midwifery examination. At the previous examination Nurse Condon, also trained at Stratford, was top for New Zealand. This record, he said, was unprecedented in the Dominion, and the medical superintendent had presented a medal to Nurse Condon. The board decided to pre3ent a medal to Nurso Stevenson as a memento of the unique occasion.
