■.jThe-Onslow- Hortipultui'al Society held its nrst Midsummer.-Show .'last, Saturday when the Mayor (Mr. C. J. B. Nonvood) perrormed the opening ceermony, complimenting the district on the brilliant display of flpwers and decorative work A special feature of the show was the magnificent display of gladioli made: by Mr. W. Bilby, of Normandale, also ; the 4r?,- ay °i eu* floors, exhibited by W. William Bourke. . • ■ .
