HUTT v. UNIVERSITY.
After having batted all the afternoon, Jiutt, who met University on the Hutt Recreation Ground, saw their tenth wicket fall for 282 at 0.20 o'clock, when stumps were drawn. Hutt's chances of making a good stand seemed rather remote in the early stages of the innings, two men having been dismissed for 21. Nunn and Aldersley proved a profitable partnership, however, and the score had been brought up to 158 before Nunn was bowled by Vietmeyer when his total stood at 71.
