(United Press Association.—Copyright.) : ' BRISBANE, 6th February. The Sheffield Shield, match between Queensland and Victoria was commenced in trying, steamy weather. O'Connor gave a faultless exhibition, his innings being characterised by its soundness. No bowler troubled him. Oxenham and O'Connor put on 156 for the second wicket. Oxenham wag fortunate that he did not fall early, otherwise he batted splendidly for his coveted century.
