MISS FRANCES MORRISON.
The invitation vocal recital to be given at the Concert Chamber on Thursday, 17th : February, at 8.15 p.m., by Miss Frances Morrison, the famous contralto, is being eagerly awaited by local musical lovers. Miss Morrison scored outstanding successes in America, and the Press there were lavish in- their praise of her beautiful voice. Says the "Musical News":—"Miss Morrison has a fine stafie presence, a voice powerful and persuasive, and a desire to please that is winning. Her definite dramatic ability is artistically bridled by a sense of musical value." Invitations may be obtained from the Bristol and Bcgg's. Box plans are now open at.the Bristol.
