For a week subsequent to the, Wellington Club's Meeting, there <was practically no activity at Trentham. Only since last Monday have trainers been coming to the tracks, and even now the work is of negligible character.

Grand Knight enlivened proceedings this morning by running half a mile on the tan in 51sec. This horse, with Nadarino, leaves for-New Plymouth next week. The pair will then" come back to the Wanganui Meeting, where S. J. Eeid also has Pantler engaged. Grand Knight claims an engagement in the Taranaki Stakes.
