DUNEDrN", This Day. The Plunket Shield match, Otago v^ Canterbury, was resumed this morning. The previous day Otago had made 107 for four wickets, Blunt nt)t out 73, Blamires not out 1.
Bgad and Cunningham, took up the attack. Blamires chopped the second ball from Cunningham into the slips, page failing to take a hot one. A little later Blamires survived a confident, appeal for l.b.w. facing the same bowler. Bead's off break troubled both batsmen. Oliver stopped a hard one from Blunf with his foot and retired with a damaged ankle, Cox taking his place. >''■■ ¥ ■'.-■■ . Nixon was substituted for Cunningham at 135> Merritt going on at the other end.
