Holmes is keeping Bonny Logan up to the collar at Sockburn in view of racing her at Addington this month. The Australian-bred Parkwood registered two good performances at the recent Forbury Park Meeting, where he finished second in the principal race each day. Since racing in the Dominion, the son of Whirhrood has not won a race, but he has been placed four times, while his winnings this season total 490 soys. G. Aitchison is highly pleased with his yearling' colt by Nelson Bingen from Bertha Bell, brother to Great Bingen and Peter Bingen, arid if looks count for anything, the youngster may prove as good as his illustrious relations.

The trotter Reverie has not yet-started in a race, but he is now being sent along fast in his work by his owner-trainer, and he is showing a lot of improvement. Beverie is a half-brother to Napland, by Peter Moko, and he has taken a long time to develop his speed.

The pacer Epigram continues to train on the right way since last being put into work. He showed exceptional promise when first raced, but splints caused his short retirement from training. Epigram has plenty of speed and is a rare good stayer,-who can be marked off as an early winner. , •. '
