"WILDFLOWER."

Containing a wealth of tuneful music, "Wildflower," at the Grand Opera. House, provides enjoyable entertainment. The story of "Wildflower" is a romantic one. Nina Benedetto, the belle of the village of Casino, but only a poor peasant girl, becomes enriched by a last-minute alteration in the will of her grandfather. She inherits his entire fortune provided she lives in the city for six months, and during that period does not lose her temper. This is no easy task for Nina. Marie Burke makes of Nina Benedetto a romantic and thoroughly delightful person. Miss Burke displays much grace and artistry. Her songs include the popular "Bambalina" and "You Can't Blame a Girl for Dreaming." As Nina's lover, Guido, Herbert Browne does well. Mr. Barrett-Len-nard, who seems to be naturally humorous, is very pleasing as Gabrielle, while Marie Eaton as Lucrezia La Roche, and Charles Zoli as Gaston La Roche, make the most of their opportunities. "Wildflower" will be repeated to-night and on Monday night.
