ACCIDENTS
Head injuries veere suffered by Mr* Matthew Boyd, a single man, aged 54, when he stepped off the footpath isL front of a tramcar at the corner of Manners and Cuba streets. Mr. Boyd, who' was admitted to the Hospital at 5.4(J, p.m., resides in Dixon street. His condition is satisfactory.
With a fractured arm, the result of his having slipped "backwards while loading a truck, Mr. John Lang, k waterside worker, employed by the Harbour Board, was admitted to the Hospital at 8.45 o'clock last evening. Mf. Lang, who is a married man, resides at 9, Pitarua street.
