CIVIL CASES.
Judgment for plaintiffs by default, with costs, was given in the following undefended civil cases by Mr. W. G. Eiddell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday:—
Commercial Agency, Ltd., and the Distributing Agency, Ltd., v. R. Neilson, £5 3s 2d; Bird and Pimm v. B. Woodcock, sen., and B. Woodcock, jun., £14 9s 6d; Freda Doris West v. Benjamin West, £10 5s 6d; Emma Burnard v. Benjamin West, £5 ss.'
On a judgment summons, G. J. Hawkins -was ordered to pay Thurman and Burton <£40 12s 4d by 24th February, in default fourteen days' imprisonment; L. W. Grace to pay the Sims Hardware Co., Ltd., £8 4s 8d by 14th February, in default seven days' imprisonment; John S. M'Nicol to pay Edith Kate Denton £2 17s by 24th February, in default two days' imprisonment; A Handon to pay C. Smith, Ltd., £7 12s Id by 24th February, in default seven days' imprisonment; Digby B. Perrett to pay A. Thomson £11 17s 6d by 24th February, in default seven days' imprisonment; Eric Odliu to pay George Thompson £12 14s by 2nd March, in default seven days' imprisonment; Alfred Bolton Neighbour to. pay Sarah Amelia Neighbour £22 17s by 10th February, in default twenty-one days' imprisonment.
