RONAYNE CUP
Oil Wednesday the Thorndon Amateur .Swimming Club held a 33 l-3yda free-style handicap race, the points for which count lor the Konayne Memorial Cup, the two Placed men' in the final also receiving trophies. The race was one of a series being held on Wednesday evenings in the Thorndon Baths for the cup. Last evenings races resulted:—First heat: H Parnell, 1; G. Calder, 2; F. Desmond, 3. Also started: C. Shivinan, K. Sprey J Miles and J Morrison. Time, 23' sec! Second heat: B. Gallete, 1; W. Kalaugher, ll Reid > 3- Also started: H. Anderson N. White, E. George, and Tutley. Time, 24sec. Final: W. Kalaugher (6sec), 1L. Keid (Bsec), 2. Time, 23 4-ssec.
