The president of the New Zealand Institute of Engineers has received notification by cable that Mr. George Taylor, president of the Association for Developing Wireless in Australia, will broadcast an engineering greeting from 2BL, Sydney, at 8 p.m. on 26th January, Australia's anniversary.
With injuries to his left leg, the result of his having fallen off the crane rigging while unloading coal from the Kaimai at the Bailway Wharf, Henry Maynes, aged 55, was admitted to the Hospital last night. Mr. Maynes, who is a married man, residing at 299, Cuba street, is not seriously hurt.
