ARMY MEAT CONTRACT
SECURED BY ARGENTINE
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) ■ LONDON, lath Jam It is understood that Weddels' and Co. have secured the army contract for their Argentine factory.
Mr. Hassan, the Australian Meat Council's representative, says this.result was not surprising. The success of the South American meat was due purely to organisation, militant marketing, and the personal touch- negotiation. "This ia the gospel which, the friends of Australian producers have been preaching for years. Though the price difference is apparently the determining factor, yet previously, when successful, the Australian tendering difference was no greater.''*
