IN FAVOUR OF STRIKE

SYDNEY, This Day. A meeting of the Amalgamated Engineering Union passed a. resolution in favour of a strike with the object of forcing the employers to grant full wages for a forty-four hours' week, but for tire present they left the matter in the hands of the District Committee.
