THE SALVATION ARMY
Services of a special nature will be held in the Citadel, Vivian street, on-Christ-mas morning, at 11, when Mrs. Ensign Goffin will give the address, and at night at 8, when the Citadel Silver Band will render '''The Messiah" and will be assisted by Mrs. Alice Harris, soprano, Miss Lily Mackie, contralto, Mr. Arthur Coe, tenor, and Mr. Lent Barnes, baritone, a special feature being the aria, "And the Trumpet Shall Sound," by Mr. Leu Barnes, with band accompaniment. Commissioner James Hay will preside, and admission is free. A collection will be taken on behalf of the Silver Band. Ou Sunday night at 7 o'clock Commissioner Hay will direct and address the people's popular service, his subject being, ''The Lowly Babe—the Mighty Lord." Songs will be sung by Adjutant Esthel HayOther services will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. There are 800 free seats.
