CHILD FATALLY BURNT
(By Telegraph.— Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. At the inquiry into the death of Lorna Allen, aged 9 years, who died in hospital following severe burns on Tuesday, the evidence showed that the deceased was taking a kettle from a gas ring when her sleeve ignited. Before the flames were suppressed tho child was very badly burned. The Coroner's verdict was that death was duo to shock following severe burns, accidentally received.
