Discommoded by a hew set of false teeth, a, farmer working ia the bush in the Grafton district placed them on a stump. <A magpie stole the teeth and alighted in n high tree. The farmer fired his gun, but missed, and < saw no more of the-magpie or the teeth. He is now conducting a merciless war oil the whole magpie family. '
