INDIGNATION IN BERLIN.

News of the Gernursheim affair was received with groat indignation in official quarters. Tho court-martial findings and sentences are described as a travesty of justice. It is asserted that all the weight of evidence was against the plea that Lieutenant Rouzier was provoked, and the death of Mueller is describe^' as a cold-blooded 'murder. The vcrdic'; is certain to arouse considerable feeling in Germany, and responsible quarters fear 'that it will undo a great deal of the good work started at Locani- for the improvement of Franco-German relations.
Unabated indignation at '. the. judgment is voiced. The morning Press unanimously declares that while- German territory is occupied and such acts are committed with impunity," real Franco-German conciliation is impossible. '
The "Lokal Anzoigey" say 3: "The verdict will unite all hearts in Germany."
The "Ereua Zpitmjg" says; "Thus does Locarno look in reality."
The "Tages -Jeitung" says: ' "The decision will hot be forgotten when France again tries to misload Germauy with promises."
Tho "Allgemeinoi Zeitung" says: "The verdict, which acquits the murderer but sentences his victims, is a bloody mockery of justice."
