BOY DROWNED

DUNEDIN, 20th Dec. George Spence, 14 years of age, who lived with Mr. Christie, a farmer at Allantori, left home at 1.30 p.m. yesterday to fish: in a .lagoon near Allanton. The boy .was seen in a boat at 3.30 o'clock, but he did not return home, and his body was recovered at noon to-day.
