SEVERELY BURNED

In an accident near the WanganuiBangitikei Power Board's sub-station at Marton yesterday, W. A. Voice, H. S Boulston (linesmen), and a two-year-old boy named Fowler'received severe burns. Tho men were engaged in running out a low-tension wire, which caught in the branch of a tree and swung into contact with the high-power line. Both woro rendered unconscious. The child Fowler was playing nearby and struck tho falling wire, being severely burned on the leg and thigh. Voice and Boulston have recovered, but are now suffering from extensive burns.
