YOUTHS BEFORE COURT

ALLEGED THEFT OF REVOLVERS,

OHEISTCHUBCH, 9th December.

One of them carrying a loaded revolver, two youths were arrested on a charge of breaking into a local warehouse, and stealing three revolvers and 200 rounds of ammunition.

Tho youths wero William Alfred Meaghor, a motor mechanic, aged 19 yoars, and Jack Sidney Valentine Botts. They appeared to-day before Mr. B. D. Mosley, S.M.

Mengher pleaded guilty to a charge of carrying si iiistol boyond the limits of his dwelling-house without a license, and tho accused were jointly charged that on 2nd December, at Christchurch, they broko and entered by night tho warehouso of E. Bceco, Ltd., and stole goods valued at £14.

On the application of the police the accused were remanded to 14th December. Bail was refused.
