ENGLISH TOUR FIXTURES.

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
According to a cable message from London the programme fixtures for the tour of ,the New Zealand cricket team in England next year provides for the tour to open with a match against Martineau'g eleven at Holport on 9th May. . A few weeks ago a list of fixtures wm published, and in this the opening match was against an M.C.C. team at"Lord's on 11th, 12th> 13th May. However, at the time it was- stated that this list was provisional, and was subject to minor alterations. It is thought that the game against Martineau's team is an extra match that has been provided; The 9th of May is a Monday, so this game could be played on Monday and Tuesday, with the match against M.C.C. commencing on Wednesday.
