The s#-iko position at; Yallourn is iintliaiigofl, but a conferonco between the Commissioners and the Trades Hall Disputes Committee lias been arranged- for to-day. Both sides are hopeful that a settlement will be reached. The cessation of coal-cutting operations willbegin to affect tho powerhouse after the end of this week unless a settle-' ment is reached. Restrictions on. the consumption of electricity will then.be enforced.
