WARM AND HUMID
THE WEATHER PROSPECTS.
The barometer has been unsteady, rising and then falling again in the south. Moderate to strong westerly and southerly winds have prevailed. The weather has been changeable, and at times squally, with scattered rainfall. The improvement that is now reported in most parts of tho country may be regarded as only temporary, however, and an interlude between two disturbances. Warm and humid conditions aro forecasted, with increasing cloud and haziness. Rain is. probable soon in the West Coast and Southern districts, and later elsewhere. Westerly winds, moderate to strong and increasing and veering to northerlies northward of New Plymouth and Napier, aro likely, with northerlies strong to gale elsewhere shortly. The barometer is expected to fall.
