COLLECTION OF INSECTS
PRESENTED TO DOMINION MUSEUM.
(By Telograph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, sth December. It is announced that, the valuable collection of insects resulting from the lifetime hobby of the late Mr, O. C, Fen wick, of Anderson's Bay, is to he presented to the Dominion Museum, in Wellington, where it can be suitably housed. The collection, which ... estimated to contain quite 4000 separate specimens, possesses a peculiar scientific value from the fact that it has been gathered, for tho most part, in Otago and Southland, and represents phases of insect life characteristic of these parts. The Penwick collection, as it will ho known, should constitute a valuable addition to the entomological exhibits in the Dominion Museum.
