POVERTY BAY FRUIT EXPORT.
Mr. I, W. Nolan, chairman of directors of the Gisborne Sheep Farmers' Frozen Meat and Mercantile Co., Ltd., remarks on the fact that last season the fruit handled by tho company showed, a considerable Increase. "It Is pleasing to be able, to record that the fruit from the .chambers Is a distinct Improvement in quality and soundness' on that of the fruit handled last season. The results are eminently satisfactory, some of the fruit now in the chambers, and which have been thero the whole season, being as sound and palatable as the day it was put In. During, tho season some 3550 cases were cooled, got up for,. and shipped to tho English market with, I understand, quite satisfactory results to the vendors."
