UNEMPLOYMENT
DEMAND TOR FARM LABOUR,

AUCKLAND, 29th November,
The demand for farm workers in. the country districts of South Auckland is in excess of the supply, judging by the inquiries being received. The_ private employment bureaux in Hamilton are finding it difficult to obtain sufficient labour to meet the employment offering. The Government Bureau reports little inquiry cither way. On the other hand, little improvement has tak'ea place in the unemployment position in. Auckland, and there are still 613 melon the roil at the Labour Bureau. Thirty-four men were found position* during the week.
