WORK TO BE RESUMED
AFTER SETTLEMENTS ENDORSED,
LONDON, 20th Novembc
Tho miners' delegates met to consider district settlements, and adjourned. No date has been fixed for their next meeting. The "Daily Herald" admits that the federation has practically ceased to attempt to supervise negotiations. An indication of the real result of the meeting was tho delegates' telegraphing to the districts to resume work as soon as settlements are endorsed by the men. In tho meantime the Lancashire minors and owners came to terms for an immediate resumption en a three years' agreement.
