GENEVA'S BEST-DRESSED WOMAN
GOES .TO GAOL FOR FRAUD.

The police, in the luxurious fiat of Hcleno Mottier, a beautiful bank secrotary, seized fifty-nine Parisian gowns, sixty-one hats, seventy-five pairs of gloves, and largo boxes full of lingerie, as tho sequel to eighteen months' imprisonment for forgeries and frauds-in-volving £8000, extending over ten years. It is stated that Heleno Mottier never wore a gown more than three times and was considered the bestdressed woman in Geneva. Sho refused many offers of marriage from wealthy men.
