At Association Park, Marist met Diamonds, but the game was spoilt by the high wind that swept the ground, making accuracy impossible. Marist were lucky to secure a win, scoring well on towards the end of the second spell. V.M.C.A. and Brooklyn were matched at Seatoun, the former gaining a win by 2 goals to 1 after a spirited but far from scientific contest. Hospital had an easy wm over Waterside at Porirua. HOSPITAL'S EASY WIN. Hospital easily defeated Waterside at Porirua by 7 goals to 1. The weather was fine, and the ground in splendid condition. The .me was very fast, and the home team generally had the best of the play. In the first spell goals were scored for Hospital by Lambert (2), Mullins, and Ferguson. On resuming, Hospital attacked strongly, aud it was not long before Mullins again scored. Waterside played a good uphill game, but Hospital were playing with understanding, and their defence was very effective. White scored for Hospital, and Mullins brought the total to 7. In the concluding stages a passing bout by Waterside ended in Wellwood scoring. Mr. J. Gilbert was the referee.
