BUILDING SUBMARINES
GERMANY SUPPLYING RUSSIA.

In reference to the Paris reports that Germany has sold -^ussia eight submarines which ought to have been destroyed under ths Versailles Treaty, th» Berlin correspondent of the "Morn*ing Post" learns that all the old submarines wero destroyed under the .Allied Naval Commission's supervision. It is also pointed out thel the Treaty, does not prevent German firms, 'working either in Germany or in neutral lands, from supplying Btissia with all the requisite parts of submarines.
The diplomatic correspondent of the "Evening Standard" says that the Commission on Disarmament drew the attention of the British, Trench, Italian, Japanese, and Belgian Governments to tht discovery that Germany had arranged for the construction of submarines in Holland.
