AUCKLAND, This Day.

Stating that milk consisting of nearly one-third of water was a source of danger to infants, and that the public must be protected, Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., this morning fined Albert -J. Willis, a dairyman, £30 and costs for selling milk that contained 27 per cent, of added water.

Robinson Bros., whose milk was found to be adulterated with 17 per cent, of water, were fined £.20, plus costs.
