KARORI'S BACKS IN FORM.
Karori's backs won the 'day for their team in the match against Wellington at Karori. : The Wellington forwards had quite as much of the ill as their opponents, but their many..promising attacking movements were nullified by the line work of Spiers and Hull, the Karori full-backs. Taylor (Wellin&'-on) took a penalty bully with Brennan, Karori's custodian, a foot from the goal line, but the latter was lucky to clear safely. The game ended 6-3 in Karori's favour. Blundell (3), Roberts, Spiers, anod Heaphy netting for the winners, and Armstrong 13) for Wellington.
