THE KING'S CONGRATULATIONS
TO TEST WINNEBS.
LONDON, 21st August. The King has sent a letter to tho Marylobone Club president congratulating England on winning "The Ashes" and asking him to tell the Australians how he "vvas impressed by their long run of triumphs. He also appreciates their formidable task^on none too easy a wicket.
