BOYS' INSTITUTE
CAMPAIGN FOR BUILDING
EXTENSION.
la connection with the \Vellington Boys' Institute Building Extension Fund' campaign, inaugurated pome months ago, it was considered advisable to call a halt in the campaign until the carillon appeal was completed. The influenza epidemic coming immediately thereafter necessitated a further delay, but the collectors are again at work, with a result that the total has now beeu raised in promises and donations to a sum exceeding £5400. It is proposed to have a series of entertainments to further augment the fund. The Ladies' Auxiliary have also taken the matter in hand, and to date have collected a sum of £365. With a Street Day and some further donations still to be received, it is hoped that the result aimed at despite the various setbacks will be achieved.
