.The Hataitai.^tetbodist Church hopes to commence thY erection of the new church in Waitoa road early next year. Plans and specifications have Ijcen prepared for a building to cost about £5500, of which . £2000 has been contributed or collected in less than three years. The last effort was nn. Empire Fair held in November. Now operations are to be resumed, and during last week the executive approached the church officojrs for now subscriptions towards the new church, and succeeded in obtaining £385, the donations including one'of £100, two of: £50, two of: £25, three of £20, one of £15, and five of £10.
