LIQUIDATING WEMBLEY
FURTHER CALL ON GUARANTOBS
(Router's, Telegram.) (Eeceived 2nd July, 2 p.m.) LONDON, lit July. The liquidators of the British Empire Exhibition announce that Wembley has been sold to the Beecham Trust and Mr. James White for £300,000, which, in view of the fact that tKe liquidators are also indemnified against certain liabilities and expenses, is the best offer received. A further call on the guarantors will be necessary. The amount will bo notified in due course.
