+ A well-attended meeting of the Port Nicholson Amateur Koad Cycling Club was presided over by Mr. G. Harrison. Six new members were elected. The chairman outlined the work which had been carried out by the Management Committee since the formation of the, club. Mr. London was elected a delegate to the Wellington Centre, and Mr. Cyril Mett was appointed vice-captain. Arrangements were made to hold the next race on 17th July from the Petone rowing sheds, through Cuba street, etc., as far <'« the Hutt Bridge, and back by the Main Hutt road to the starting point." The chairman, in presenting the prizes f • the last race, congratulated the winners on their success. Beferring to Mr. Bright's accident, he stated that in future races the finishing post would be roped off for 50yds on cither side, and competitors would be supplied with numbers, so that they could be easily distinguished.
