An appeal was lodged yesterday in the caso in which Margaret Denver was convicted and fined £5 Is for assaulting John Henry Hannan. This was the case the hearing of which -was preoeded by a sensation caused by Mr. B. A. Singer alleging bias against Mr. Poynton, S.M.
