The financial accounts of the Commonwealth for the year ended 30th June will not be available till the Tedoral Treasurer, Dr. Earl Page, makes his Budget speech in the House of Representatives. It is estimated, however, that there will be a surplus of £2,500,----000. State accounts are expected to show a deficiency of £300,000.
